Sets and Reps – What Do They Mean

Set is the term used for a turn. Example: a set of 10 repetitions equals one turn.

Reps is the amount of times you will do an exercise during a set or turn – one set / turn of 10 repetitions. Example: 3 sets of 15 repetitions with 8-pound weights.

Repetitions will be varied, occasionally in order to increase your strength and condition and change your body / muscles.
